30th Session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy (CSE-30)

The 30^th Session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy (CSE-30) will take place from 22 to 24 September during the 2021 Sustainable Energy Week.

Featuring:

• Discussion of UNECE member country commitments to energy in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement.
• Affirmation of the context and continuing work of the Pathways to Sustainable Energy Programme, including panels on: attaining carbon neutrality in the UNECE region (with a focus on the role of hydrogen); electricity as a critical vector for transformation; energy subsidies and carbon pricing options; high-performance buildings; methane management; and sustainable resource management.
• Endorsement of the strategic review of the sustainable energy subprogramme.
