The Kick-off-Meeting of the CSP-ERANET 1st Call project NEWCLINE (Advanced thermocline concepts for thermal energy storage for CSP) was held online on May 4th 2021 at 10:00 (CEST). Therefore, the project activities have been initiated.
The meeting was chaired by the project coordinator, Carlos David Perez Segarra from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya- BarcelonaTech (UPC) Máquinas y Motores Térmicos and a total of 10 participants from all the consortium partners attended the meeting: Alexander Bonk (DLR), Carlos D. Perez-Segarra (UPC), Christian Odenthal (DLR), Dani Carbonell (SPF), Deniz,Kizildag (UPC), Dimitrina Lang (KB), Felix Alonso (EAI), Fernando Martínez (EAI), Martin Neugebauer (SPF), Thomas Bauer (DLR). Strategy of cooperation during the project duration and the first steps to be done in the next few months were the main points of the meeting, which concluded with a long and well structured list of actions.
The first part of Kick-off-Meeting was dedicated to management aspects, such as the Consortium Agreement, CSP ERANET requirements, Newcline website, organization of periodic meetings, bi-annual meetings, among others. Then, after a project overview (WPs, tasks, milestones, deliverables, etc.), each partner presented the activities, as WP or task leader, corresponding to the first-year project.
